With a history as a working ranch for over a century, horses are in imbued in our culture.
The Star 6 Ranch offers its 75 x 125 ft sand arena for approved equestrian events and use by like-minded equine educators, coaches and clinicians.
Beyond the arena, we offer acres of meadows, forests and a riverfront to explore. You don’t need to venture far for new experiences and adventures; however, we are flanked by Bow Valley Provincial Park and are a perfect staging location for accessing endless kilometres of multi-use horse trails, mountain riding, glacier-fed lakes, and more.
Five horse holding pens and a trailer parking area, mean that you can stay overnight with your four-legged family members.
THE ARENA
Our sand arena boasts exceptional views of the mountains and is available to book for clinics, workshops, and equestrian events. This space includes:
Sand footing, tractor harrowed
Round Pen
5 horse holding pens
1 large cattle holding pen
Small viewing deck off barn
Lawns adjacent for viewing
Parking for horse trailers included
Overnight horse camping available, on request
