Raven’s Nest
Created and led by women from the Stevens family of Mînî Thnî, the camp draws on a matriarchal lineage of knowledge keepers who are passionate about empowering the next generation of Ĩyethka youth.
A Circle of Women and Girls
Girls come together with a circle of Elders to share stories, skills, and culture: traditional crafts, horsemanship, and land-based practices that strengthen identity, confidence, and community connection.
The first camp, in spring 2025, brought together twelve girls aged 12 to 14 over two days on the land. It has grown into a seasonal program, with a June 2026 session complete and Fall and Winter sessions ahead.
The Program Belongs to the Community it Serves
The Stevens family leads its direction and teaching; the Foundation contributes the land, coordination, and resources that help it happen. We consider it one of the most important things that takes place here.
